The Conflict of Ego

Awareness is aware of itself both globally and at every point within itself. It is simultaneously fully aware and collapsing to a point at every point. And further, that point is expanding back out again in every moment. This collapsing and expanding in every moment is the very breath of life. Our natural growth process reflects this too. We collapse into a point of apparent individuality and then expand back out again in enlightenment. From the perspective of a body or person, we experience from one of those points. The intellect then distinguishes here from there and the I-sense arises. … Continue Reading…

Our Gifts

I’ve written several articles about Empath gifts, primarily because of the importance of being aware of them and getting skilled. This is because it can make a huge difference in quality of life, self-understanding, and spiritual growth when we stop taking on others burdens. But it’s also useful to understand that while only 1 in 20 people are an empath, we are all born with gifts. And it can certainly be useful to discover the gifts we have. Plus, even among people with the same gifts, others expression will differ from ours. Not all animal empaths experience the same aspects … Continue Reading…

Empath and Unity

In a forum I mentioned the distinction between Empath gifts and Unity Consciousness. I was asked to clarify further. I updated the response here. An empath will experience one or more ways of what it’s like to be another person, depending on their empath gifts. It may be someone’s physical sensations, their emotions, or their thinking tone, etc. They won’t experience all of what that person experiences – just those aspects they have gifts for. And it will only be to the degree of their skill, intention, clarity, and so forth. Mainly they pick up what the other is broadcasting … Continue Reading…

Healing Everything – Part 3 of 3

< Part 2 – Prep – More Specific Issues Much of the above helps us improve the general tone of our lives but some knots or blocks are more pernicious. After our practice, we step back into the world and the old habits re-engage, reinforcing the momentum of the past. These are the sprouted seeds of karma. There are a variety of ways we store unresolved experiences. This is directly related to karma. Energetic sludge, knots, unskilled empath merge, spiritual addiction/bypassing, negative thought forms, frozen contractions, crusts, outmoded self-concepts, old substance abuse issues, energetic cords of attachment, psychic coercion, and … Continue Reading…

Empath Empowerment

As we’re in the energy age, it should be no surprise that there is a major rise in the presence of energy healing. You’ll now find all sorts of different energy modalities. Even a bit of it in formal medical settings. Energy is the flow that gives rise to the forms of our experience. Thus, being able to heal energetically can correct causal issues that effect both quality of life and spiritual progress. What that arena has tended to be missing is good energy reading skills or literacy. For example, it’s not uncommon for energy healers to be taught to … Continue Reading…

Aura Reading

Over the years on this blog I’ve talked about refined perception, the koshas or auras, and other aspects of our energetic nature. Recently I’ve been talking some about Rose Rosetree and chakra databanks. Rose has written a book on Aura Reading that I found quite insightful. The book is what geeks would call a “recipe book” – a little theory but mostly application. How-to’s. One of the most important ideas to move past is that “reading auras” is about being able to see colours. Instead, it’s reading information via your subtle sense and intuitive modes. That may include colours but … Continue Reading…
