In the current time, consciousness is rising. This is increasing access to our hidden trauma (our unresolved experiences) but also means it’s coming up for people who don’t know how to process it. This leads to fear, agitation, and sometimes acting out.
The vast majority of humans are carrying unresolved trauma from this and prior lives. For those who are more sensitive, this is even more true. We need better understanding plus techniques to access and clear our load. This will help with quality of life and with smoothing out the collective transition that is underway.
In this podcast episode, Ryan Hassan, one of my somatic therapy teachers, discusses the significance of trauma for “sensitives” like HSPs and empaths.
One point I’ll clarify. I disagree that HSPs and Empaths are the same. However, empaths could be said to be an HSP with one or more areas where they are extra-sensitive. The difference is in degree.
