I often talk of being authentic and real to your experience. This is especially true at the current time. Don’t try to keep everything the same. The world is a field of change, designed to give you experiences, not to stay the same.
Careful with what your attention dwells on. If you dwell on division, on fear and anger, you amplify that in your life and in the world.
Is this what you want more of?
Instead, choose what nourishes you. Spend time with those who uplift you. Consume what brings joy.
I can appreciate that the news and social media are enticing. But they’re designed to be inflammatory to keep your attention, to suck you in. This is not truth. It amplifies biases and can be very polarizing.
Habit can feel safe, but it can cause resistance to change. Change may not feel safe. But this is the way of the world. We’re in a rising cycle, so change is moving toward the good. If it’s challenging, this too shall pass.
Be authentic to what you feel, but don’t act out. Find healthy ways to process. Choose the good. Be intentional with what uplifts you. Don’t share what you don’t want more of. Allow what is here to be as it is. Then life can flow in and through, lifting you up and along.

Really well said David. As you also said, being real is so important for the time we’re living now.
🙏
To be clear, I’m not saying stay away from current events. I’m saying choose clean sources and be alert to what you’re dwelling on. If the news is amplifying your inner drama, then it’s time for healing, not more triggers.
Take care of yourself, then you can help take care of the world. Fall into the drama, then you’re amplifying that.
Yes, lovely David!
