I’ve spoken about this here before but its worthwhile mentioning this from another voice. My mate is reading Gregg Braden’s book “The Spontaneous Healing of Belief“. She brought the book in again to share an important point. The issue of why its so hard to change beliefs.
“The reason is because of what we think our beliefs say about us. Geoff Heath, former principle lecturer in counselling and human relations at the University of Derby in England, describes the crux of our dilemma: “We are what we come to believe ourselves to be. To change our beliefs is to change our identities… That’s why it’s difficult to change our beliefs.”
