“All any of it [that we experience] ever cares about is recognition. Really, this is what we provide as humans within the context of this universe… is we are aware. We are aware of our universe. Our awareness of our universe is the gift that we give to our universe. It is the function that we perform in this universe that allows the Divine to perpetuate it’s evolutionary process. We are the instruments of awareness.”

    1. Ah, now thats an interesting compound word. Usually translated to mean ‘the heart of self-recognition’, it could also be self-recognition of the heart. However, it looking at the sutras of the text, it talks of Shakti creating the world and liberation from it, suggesting the first is more suitable. The heart comes later in the process.

Divine beauty is the link that draws us inward to the divine. We have a symbiotic relationship with the divine. Divine beauty draws us in and the divine benefits (soma) from us. Our darshan thrills the divine from our presence, and the entire universe is the beneficiary. Pretty good karma.

I my experience, divine beauty is the charm that we experience during effortless meditation. It is charm or divine beauty that makes meditation effortless . Once it is experienced, we have no choice to being drawn inward. It is like the tractor beam from Star Wars.

Once we have integrated a sufficient amount of silence, or coherence in activity, we spontaneously begin to experience divine beauty in activity. Love is the most nature response, especially for personalized divine beauty. Divine beings love us unconditionally, and we have no other choice or at least I have no other choice, but but to respond with my own divine love. Loving and being loved between ourselves spontaneously unifies the subject with the object. To me, this is natural and spontaneous. To me, it is the essential ingredient of the human/divine relationship and it is responsible for the maintenance of creation. To me, it is a building block for enlightenment.
