In this article, Gemma Carroll talks about the felt sense and the nature of the somatic processing of stress and trauma. She’s a practitioner of the Embodied Processing* that I’ve been studying.

Pendulation between touching our trauma and back into our own safe space (resource) is a great way to step gingerly into our more challenging contractions. However, if we have a witness or presence well-established, we have an ongoing resource and can process that bigger stuff more easily.
