Recently, I have posted several articles on Oprah’s free 10 part series on A New Earth with Eckhart Tolle. Oprah is now offering a 3 part “Soul” series with Eckhart. This is from September of last year when she interviewed Eckhart on his earlier book, “The Power of Now“. This is when she was introduced to “A New Earth“. Looks like it’s in 3 parts of 30 minutes each.
You can view or download the first video or audio at:

Other parts will follow.
The Soul series originates from XM radio so the format is a videotaped radio interview. Eckhart is remote from NY. Upcoming speakers in the Soul series releases include Wayne Dyer, Byron Katie, and more.
Who would have thought I’d be talking about Oprah so much? (laughs)

I am so greatful to Eckhart Tolle and Oprah for turning me onto Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor and her beautiful book “”My Stroke of Insight””. Her story is amazing and her gift to all of us is a book purchase away I’m happy to say.
Dr Taylor was a Harvard brain scientist when she had a stroke at age 37. What was amazing was that her left brain was shut down by the stroke – where language and thinking occur – but her right brain was fully functioning. She experienced bliss and nirvana and the way she writes about it (or talks about it in her now famous TED talk) is incredible.
What I took away from Dr. Taylor’s book above all, and why I recommend it so highly, is that you don’t have to have a stroke or take drugs to find the deep inner peace that she talks about. Her book explains how. “”I want what she’s having””, and thanks to this wonderful book, I can! Thank you Dr. Taylor, and thank you Eckhart and Oprah.
Thanks for sharing this; after being with Oprah and Eckhart Tolle for 10 weeks, it is good to have this come on the heels of that wonderful experience!
Dr. Taylor’s story is quite remarkable. You may wish to search this blog for her name. I mention her in another post for her interview with Oprah and her presentation to TED.
Note my comments there. As a brain scientist, she sees consciousness as a consequence of brain function. However, its actually brain function as a consequence of consciousness. But her mirror, her brain, was damaged, impairing her usual barriers to a larger experience of consciousness. She was able to side-step many years of spiritual work with a well-observe breakthrough. A remarkable story.
Hi Louise
I have not actually had time to listen to it yet. (laughs) Downloaded it. But its kind of the prequel so look forward to it. Some people waken without knowing how they got there. Eckhart’s story is the more remarkable in that he did it solo but also was observant enough to see the process. Thanks for all the feedback!
