Offer it Back

prayer of the frog

If we’re struggling in some area of life, it may be due to the cycles of time, the collective, or unfolding karma. But it’s also useful to look at how we are with circumstances. If we’re resisting or responding with depression or other heavier emotions, we may be offering a sinkhole to the energy of growth. This is not a suggestion of blame. It’s natural to feel bad when things go poorly. But soon, it’s time to move on. What are we bringing to life? What are we feeding? What is supported now? An early example for me was Maharishi … Continue Reading…

Healing Outside Time

serene

When you join a webinar with Dorothy Rowe, you work as a collective, structured by the group consciousness of the participants. Your role is to witness the process as best you can. The actual doing is in being, in the process of experience or devata value. Our attention activates dormant or asleep laws in consciousness itself. They’re called forth by attention and intention. They act directly to heal with the skills and intelligence needed. Resources are essentially unlimited if awareness is clear. Putting this another way, the healing capacity is always present but requires our attention and clarity to call … Continue Reading…

Deep Patterns

4tree

In the past, I’ve written about the crud we store in the mind, emotions, and physical body. I’ve spoken about the deeper bliss and intellect bodies as essentially clear. When we release the junk in the coarser bodies that reveals the more subtle ones. This is true but there are dynamics in these deeper bodies that can sustain issues that express in the coarser bodies. The bliss or causal “body” is about space and vibration. It is universal, shared by all. The intellect and fine feelings body is about structure and relationship. This is the field of sacred geometry. The … Continue Reading…

Dorothy Rowe

Golden Dream

In the spring before my BATGAP interview, I watched Dorothy Rowe’s interview. She’s a distance energy healer based in Iowa. A close friend recently gifted me a personal energy healing with her. Waiting for the appointment, I watched some videos which lead into others, then a live webinar, then browsed her knowledge base. I’m impressed at how her offerings have developed and surprised we didn’t connect more a few years ago. She works primarily from pure Being or consciousness. This way, any healing on any level can be supported. As she says in her intro’s, we have control over our … Continue Reading…

Balance

Travails of Sunrise

We can think of light and dark as on a brightness spectrum. And yet curiously they also behave like a loop. Too much purity and we can’t integrate and drift into inertia and shadow. Too much darkness and we fall into the light. Another way we can see this is that the spectrum has infinity at both ends. The smoother path is not at the extremes. Rather than rejecting the darkness, we should seek the balance point. The dancer always risks falling, but it’s the balance that allows the beauty of the dance to unfold. Without dissolution, there is no … Continue Reading…

The Power of Speech

The spoken word is sounds that represent conceptual symbols that have a somewhat shared meaning. For example, if I speak the word “apple”, you’ll have a good idea of what I’m referring to but not a lot of detail. While misunderstanding is common, the spoken word remains an effective way to communicate between two people who experience themselves as separate. The written word, like this article, uses letters to symbolize sounds that symbolize meaning. Some languages use word symbols instead of sound symbols, like Chinese. But either is another step removed and thus a little less powerful. In a sense, … Continue Reading…

The Appearance of the Doers

The deeper you go, the less localized and more universal you get. For example, most experience their body, emotions, and thoughts as local and personal. But as you touch deeper into fine feelings, intuition, and bliss you find them more expansive and less personal. And yet, these more universal values may also feel more intimate as they’re closer to your true Self. We can also look at this another way, through the elements. Earth is very specific, water has a little less distinctive edges, fire even more so. Each is less localized. Ditto the lower 3 chakras. But as you … Continue Reading…

Nature’s Support

I’ve worked with the concept of “nature’s support” since the 70’s and have come to perceive the mechanics. I’ve written on the topic before, but sometimes more obscurely. The subject came up on Choice and Surrender and it became clear I needed to say more. When you put your attention on something or act towards it, is this movement supported or not? Do you get smooth and easy results or obstacles? Where are results happening? In the direction intended or over to one side? Nature in this case refers to the world – the environment and others. How is what … Continue Reading…

Purest Divinity

First, lets explore what I mean by pure Divinity here. This is beyond form, beyond vibration, beyond silent being, beyond consciousness, and beyond Brahman. It is Divinity in its purity, unconstrained and uncreated. We can consider our experience of consciousness for comparison. We can explore the layers and dynamics of consciousness and consciousness aware of itself globally and at every point. But pure consciousness is just that: consciousness, quietly alert in its own nature. Pure Divinity is similar but deeper – beyond all forms and phenomena yet bathing everything in its presence. How we come to know it is by … Continue Reading…

The Great Shadows

While I’ve explored karma in several other posts, I thought it would be useful to take it another step into application. As the saying goes, we come into this life with a suitcase of karma to work through. There will be lots of little bits plus a few big ones. We might call the biggies life lessons or life challenges. They’ll show up in certain areas of our life and not in others. For example, we may have reasonable health and good work but relationship challenges and issues with money. These things seem to be ongoing or show up repeatedly. … Continue Reading…

What is Destruction?

We tend to see change as a loss, partly because the ego likes to feel in control. It’s also disturbing tamas, our inertia. And yet, the cycle of growth requires change: balance, disintegration, growth, integration, and repeat. Without disintegration, there is no growth, no transformation. Life is inherently change. Our very life depends on the transformation of food, water, and breath. And if we look around us we see that change is the order of the day. In fact, the world around us is being recreated in every moment. The only reason it doesn’t completely change every time is because … Continue Reading…

The Dasha Mahavidya

The Dasha Mahavidya

I touched on the Mahavidya in The Mahavidya Interview but needed more research to do a proper job. As I mentioned there, the Dasha Mahavidya (10 great knowledge) are from Tantra and are embodied by 10 goddesses. While the gods are embodiments of laws of nature, the goddesses are embodiments of the powers (Shakti) that drive them and all of creation. The first cannot function without the power of the second. These goddesses tend to be portrayed with a destructive or dark emphasis, like in the Wikipedia article on the topic. There also is an emphasis on their names, forms, … Continue Reading…
